Telugu actor Nandamuri Tarakaratna hospitalised after fainting during TDP's 'Yuva Galam' rally
Tollywood actor Nandamuri Tarakaratna reportedly fainted due to exhaustion during Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Nara Lokesh's 'Yuva Galam' (Youth Voice) Padyatra near Kuppam.
The incident took place when there was a stampede-like situation outside a mosque visited by Lokesh soon after launching his 4,000 km-long foot march.
A large number of TDP workers surged forward after Lokesh came out of the place of worship. In the melee, the actor fell down and fainted. He was rushed to the local hospital, as per an ANI report.
Doctors have said that, if necessary, he will be shifted to a Bengaluru hospital for proper treatment.

Nandamuri Tarakaratna: Family, Movies
Tarakaratna is the grandson of TDP founder, legendary actor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. T. Rama Rao. He is the cousin of Junior NTR, Kalyan Ram and Lokesh. He is also the nephew of actor and politician Nandamuri Balakrishna, and actor and politician Nandamuri Harikrishna.

Nandamuri Tarakaratna made his debut in Tollywood with 'Okato Number Kurraadu' (2002). He has played antagonist roles in 'Amaravathi' (2009), for which he received a Nandi Award, and also in 'Raja Cheyyi Vesthe' (2016). Recently, he played the lead role in the Hotstar Web Series '9 Hours' (2022).
Yuva Galam Padyatra
Christened as “Yuva Galam” (voice of youth), the padayatra or foot march will cover over 150 out of 175 assembly constituencies across the length and breadth of Andhra Pradesh, and end at Ichapuram, in Srikakulam district, after a period of 400 days.
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) general secretary Nara Lokesh initiated the padyatra on Friday morning. As per the plan of the party leadership, Lokesh will tour an Assembly constituency for at least three days and cover several villages. Besides focussing on unemployment, issues of youth, women and farmers, he will try to sensitise the people on various issues.
