Avatar re-release: Hollywood blockbuster science fiction film 'Avatar' directed by James Cameron, will be dropping again in the theatres on September 23 in India. As Avatar: The Way of Water, the first sequel of Avatar, will be making its theatrical debut worldwide on December 16, the movie director James Cameron wants people to re-live the first part of the Avatar series.
The makers of the film released new assets - a trailer and a poster ahead of the film's return to theatres in 4K High Dynamic Range. James Cameron, wrote couple of tweets with poster and a trailer with captions: "Before our next chapter begins, experience Avatar in remastered 4K 3D HDR in theaters September 23rd for a limited time."
"We remastered the movie and decided it deserved a new poster...," Cameron wrote on Twitter.
According a to an IANS report, this epic movie won three Oscars at the 82nd Academy Awards for Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction and Best Visual Effects.

The film has been directed by Canadian filmmaker James Cameron, who has earlier made blockbuster films such as 'Titanic', 'The Terminator' and 'Terminator 2: Judgment Day'. The much-awaited sequel, 'Avatar: The Way of Water', will be arriving in cinemas on December 16, 2022.
