International Film Festival of India 2022: The International Film Festival of India (IFFI), founded in 1952, is one of the most significant film festivals in Asia. It is held annually, currently in the state of Goa.
International Film Festival of India 2022: International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is set to celebrate its 53rd edition from November 20 to November 28 in Goa.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting opened entries for ’75 Creative Minds of Tomorrow’ earlier this month (September 5) with the aim of empowering young filmmakers from across India, by providing a platform to showcase and honour their skills.
53rd IFFI Last date: The last date to submit the entry is September 23.
Conducted jointly by the Directorate of Film Festivals (under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting) and the state Government of Goa. The festival intends to provide a common platform for filmmakers from across the globe to showcase their talent and put forth the excellence of cinema from all over.
How to register?
Step 1: Interested candidates may register and submit an application by visiting the official website -- iffigoa.org/creativeminds
Step2: Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria and parameters available on the official website-- www.iffigoa.org before applying.
Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur had earlier released the official poster of the 53rd edition of the International Film Festival of India at the India Pavilion.
The 52nd edition of the International Film Festival of India, IFFI was also held in Goa from November 20 – 28, 2021.

IFFI showcases a collage of the best of contemporary and classic films from around the globe and welcomes an array of world-renowned filmmakers, actors, technicians, critics, academicians and film enthusiasts to celebrate cinema and the art of filmmaking through its screenings, presentations, master classes, panel discussions, co-production, seminars, etc, a press release said.
