Duranga web series has been released on OTT platform ZEE5. It features Drashti Dhami and Gulshan Devaiah in the lead roles is an Indian adaptation of 'Flower of Evil'. The web series was released on August 19. Popular Korean actor Lee Joon-gi commenting about Duranga said that he is happy about his hit show "Flower of Evil" getting an Indian adaptation with Duranga.

Lee Joon-gi  took to Instagram on Saturday to send his best wishes to the team of Duranga.

"Happy to see you (Indian) friends! Looking forward to it," Lee captioned the posters of Flower of Evil alongside Duranga.

Lee is known for K-dramas such as "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" and "Criminal Minds" and  films such as "The King and the Clown" and "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter".

The web series consists of 9 episodes. The series follows  Sammit (Devaiah) as the perfect man who is hiding a twisted past from his wife Ira, a super cop, played by Dhami.

Directed by Pradeep Sarkar and Aijaz Khan, it is run by Behl, who has co-produced the project via his Rose Audio Visuals along with Shradha Singh. The web series also stars Rajesh Khattar, Divya Sheth, Zakir Hussain, Barkha Bisht, Abhijit Khandkekar and Hera Mishra.

Goldie Behl, also the creator of the ZEE5 web series, said he and the team at his production house Rose Audio Visuals are currently working towards acquiring the rights of more Korean-language serials, a PTI report said.

The trend of adapting Korean dramas or K-dramas for Indian audiences is here to stay, said producer Behl, who has backed "Duranga", the Hindi version of the popular show "Flower of Evil", a PTI report added.
