Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2023: The Dadasaheb Phalke Awards was attended by Alia Bhatt, Rekha, Vidya Balan, Anupam Kher, Varun Dhawan and other Bollywood stars in Mumbai on Monday.

Famous Bollywood couple-- Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt won the best actor and best actress award for different films. Alia Bhatt won the best actress award for ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, she portrayed the iconic character of Gangubai in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film.

Ranbir Kapoor won the best actor award for his recently successful film Brahmastra Part One – Shiva. Ranbir’s Mother and Alia’s mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor expressed her ecstasy on social media for homing two awards by sharing a screenshot of the recipient on her story.

Apart from this, actor Anupam Kher received the award for most versatile actor of the year and Varun Dhawan won Critics best actor for ‘Bhediya’. While Vivek Agnihotri’s film ‘Kashmir Files' won Best Film award, RRR won Film of the Year award.
