Big Releases of 2023: From Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathan' to Salman Khan's 'Tiger 3', Bollywood has a lot in store for moviegoers this year. In 2023, the entertainment industry has lined up a list of big-budget films that are expected to do well at the box office.

Beginning the year on a high, SRK's comeback film 'Pathaan' has already set a record of 4.19 lakh tickets sold till Tuesday, as per a PTI report.

Other much-awaited films being Salman's 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' and Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor-starrer 'Tu Jhootha Main Makkar', and others.

Here's a list of Bollywood films that will hit theaters in 2023:

Pathaan
Shah Rukh Khan's comeback film 'Pathaan' is set for its theatrical release on January 25. It also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles. Directed by Siddhart Anand, the film marks SRK's return to the big screen after 5 years. 'Pathaan' will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Shehzada
After the massive success of 'Freddy' on OTT, Kartik Aaryan is ready with his next release 'Shehzada'. The first look of the film was released on November 22, 2022, and the movie is set to release on February 10, 2023. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the film also features Kriti Sanon.

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar
Luv Ranjan's rom-com movie 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' will hit the big screen on March 8. Produced by Ranjan and Ankur Garg's Luv Films, the film features Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead. TJMM will be Ranbir's first attempt at rom-com after 2013 hit 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'. His last theatrical release 'Brahmastra: Part One Shiva' was among top-grossers of 2022. This film also marks Shraddha's comeback after 4 years.

Tiger 3
The action-romance film 'Tiger 3' will hit 'theatres on the occasion of Diwali 2023. This Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer film will be the third installment movie of the popular 'Tiger' franchise. The first two editions in the series were - 'Ek Tha Tiger' and 'Tiger Zinda Hai'.

Bholaa
Ajay Devgn-starrer 'Bholaa' is set to release theatrically on March 30. It is Devgn's fourth directorial release after the 2008 film 'U Me Aur Hum', 'Shivaay' (2016), and 'Runway 34' (2022). The film also featuring Tabu in lead, will be released in 3D.

It is the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit 'Kaithi', which was written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. 'Kaithi' released in the year 2019, and was well-received by the audience.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan
Salman Khan-starrer movie 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' will open in theatres on the occasion of Eid this year, while the teaser will release on January 25. According to Khan's Twitter handle, the teaser will be played during the screening of SRK's film 'Pathaan' (releasing on January 25).

Fukrey 3
The third installment of the hit comedy franchise 'Fukrey' is set to release on the big screen on September 7. Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, the film features Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, and Ali Fazal in lead roles. It also features Richa Chadha as local gangster Bholi Punjaban and Pankaj Tripathi as Pandit ji.
