Bawaal OTT release date announced: Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer movie - 'Bawaal' - is all set to make its debut on the OTT platform this month. Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari's directorial movie will stream on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, July 21.

The romance-action film is backed by Sajid Nadiadwala's production banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment in collaboration with Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and Nitesh's Earthsky Pictures.

According to the makers, 'Bawaal', which has been shot in India and multiple international locations, has a meaningful message, said PTI.

Manish Menghani, director of content licensing at Prime Video India, said 'Bawaal' is an unconventional love story that "goes beyond the confines of borders, languages, or a period in time".

Bawaal OTT Release Details

The action-romance film Bawaal will be streamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video starting July 21.

Varun Dhawan plays the character of Ajay Dixit while Janhvi Kapoor's character is called Nisha in the movie. Along with Dhawan and Kapoor, the film also features Parth Siddhpura, Shashie Vermaa, Arnob Khan Akib, and others.

Bawaal Storyline

Ajay Dixit (Varun Dhawan) is a school teacher in Lucknow, who is idolised by his students, and admired by everyone in town. Janhvi plays Nisha, a bright, beautiful yet simple girl, whose only hope is to find her one true love. Dixit falls in love with Nisha, the most beautiful girl in town. He wants to marry her one day because marrying her can raise his social position.
