Avatar: The Way Of Water nominated for Golden Globe Award, to hit theaters on Dec 16 | check advance booking status & other details

Avatar: The Way Of Water: The much-awaited epic science fiction film 'Avatar: The Way Of Water' is all set to hit theaters worldwide in three days. The movie which is scheduled to be released on Friday, December 16,  has already sold more than 3 lakhs tickets in India.

The film Avatar 2 is written and directed by James Cameron, who has been nominated for Golden Globe Award in the category of Best Director in Motion Picture. Whereas the film #AvatarTheWayOfWater has been nominated for Best Motion Picture in Drama.

It should be noted that 'Avatar: The Way Of Water' is the sequel to the blockbuster movie Avatar. It's been nearly 13 years since James Cameron originally released the first edition of the film in 2009.

Cameron and Jon Landau produced the film, which stars Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, and Kate Winslet.

Avatar: The Way Of Water: Storyline
The sequel features Sam Worthington's Jake Sully and Zoe Saldana's Na'vi Neytiri and their family, according to the trailer. The video shows captivating visuals such as shots of Pandora's dazzling blue ocean - both above and below the surface.
