A surprising incident has come to the fore in Mumbai's Zaveri Bazaar. You must have seen Akshay Kumar's 'Special 26' film. Exactly the same happened here. In this film, the robbery was done by becoming a fake officer. Similarly, fake ED officers looted crores of rupees by raiding Zaveri Bazaar. According to the information received, 4 unknown people conducted a fake raid on the office of a businessman. The miscreants took away Rs 25 lakh in cash and three kg of gold from the office.

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) continues to crack down on the sale of fake hallmarking jewellery. The raids were carried out simultaneously at six cities including Mumbai, Thane, Pune and Nagpur. In this raid, BIS has seized 2.75 kg of fake hallmarking jewelry worth Rs 1.5 crore.
Raid were carried out simultaneously at 6 locations in Maharashtra, including main hubs such as Mumbai, Thane, Pune and Nagpur. In Zaveri Bazar, Mumbai, two establishments engaged in fake hallmarking on gold jewellery were raided as part of the operation leading to seizure of around 2.75kg of gold jewellery worth over Rs. 1.5 crores.
