The Misinformation Combat Alliance (MCA) partners with Meta to introduce a WhatsApp tipline on March 25th, aimed at identifying and countering AI-generated misinformation in India. The initiative, led by the Deepfakes Analysis Unit (DAU), allows users to submit audio and video content for assessment to combat potential harm and deception in public discourse.
