The number of diabetes patients is increasing continuously in many countries of the world. The latest report of the Lancet claimed that India comes in the top 10 countries among the patients of 'Type 1' Diabetes. India has the highest number of patients under 20 years of age. There were 84 lakh people worldwide living with 'Type 1' Diabetes patients by 2021. Globally, 12.24 lakh patients under the age of 20 are suffering from 'Type 1' Diabetes.
