Telecom Bill: The government is going to crack down on fraud through fake SIM cards and other similar crimes in the country. Telecom Bill 2023 has been passed in both houses of Parliament. In this bill, there is a provision of 3 years in jail and a fine of up to Rs 50 lakh for purchasing a fake SIM. After the President signs this bill, it will become law.
