No vehicular traffic will be allowed till all of it is cleared," an official of the traffic department said. Around 250 vehicles, majority of them trucks carrying petroleum products, had crossed the Mom Passi bad patch on Wednesday to reach the valley before the fresh landslides hit the highway.

"All landslide debris on the highway in Ramban district was cleared on Saturday evening. Over 80 trucks carrying essential supplies for the Kashmir Valley were allowed to move," the traffic officials said.

"There has been fresh snowfall in Bannihal sector. Incessant rains are continuing in other parts of the highway. This is the second consecutive day of the highway remaining closed.
