Microsoft Azure Cloud Outage: Airports in Delhi, Mumbai, and Goa also faced technical problems due to the Microsoft technical glitch. Due to the problem, manual check-in has started at many airports, including Chennai, Hyderabad, Patna, and Goa. Delhi Airport, SpiceJet, IndiGo, and Akasa Air have issued advisories for passengers. Payment systems have been facing problems in Australia and the UK. British news channel Sky News also went off air due to the glitch.

Aviation regulator DGCA on Wednesday (27th July) ordered SpiceJet to operate a maximum of 50 per cent of its flights for eight weeks after several of its planes reported technical malfunction recently. After the DGCA action, SpiceJet official said that due to the travel season, SpiceJet had already rescheduled its flight operations like other airlines.
