Punjab Lok Sabha Election Winners List 2024: The Indian National Cogress (INC) secured seven out of the 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab in the 2024 general polls. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won three seats while one seat went to the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) party. The state has a representation of 13 seats in the lower house of Parliament. The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Tuesday appealed to Panjab University in Chandigarh to withdraw its decision to drop Punjabi as a compulsory subject at the graduation level in all its affiliated colleges even as it warned the varsity that Punjabis would never tolerate this discrimination against their mother tongue.
