Under the proposed regulation, people involved in suspicious trading activities will have to prove that they have not done anything wrong. According to sources, “The Prohibition of Unexplained Suspicious Trading Activities Regulation is part of the board agenda; the board may take a call based on the feedback." The proposed regulation is in addition to the existing Prohibition of Fraudulent and Unfair Trade Practices (PFUTP) and Prohibition of Insider Trading (PIT) Regulations.
