Predictions are that the film might join the 100 cr club today itself. Looking at the public reactions and footfals at cinemas trade analyst Sumit Kadel is expecting Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju collection will surpass the amount of Rs.45 cr, on Sunday!
On the day 1 of the release, Sanju movie broke the record of Race 3 (Rs 28.50 crore) and became the biggest opener of 2018. Now, Sanju collection in opening weekend is set to beat Salman Khan starrer Race 3!
Sanju is likely to change Ranbir Kapoor's career graph. After a big flop like ‘Jagga Jasoos’ Ranbir badly needed a hit film in his account. Sanju has become the biggest blockbuster with the highest opener of 2018.

Sanju collection: Rajkumar Hirani directed, Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju has finally hit theatres. The movie is based on a biopic of actor Sanjay Dutt. It was most awaited movie of 2018.
Rajkaumar Hirani directorial Sanju has become the 6th highest all time opening day grosser. Collecting Rs.34.75 crore on the very first day, it has managed to successfully beat the colletions of previous releases including Tiger Zinda Hai (Rs. 34.10 crore), Chennai Express(Rs. 33.12 crore), Ek tha Tiger(Rs. 32.93 crore) and Singham Returns(Rs. 32.09 crore).
Besides the grand opening in the domestic market, Sanju is also working wonders overseas. The film has witnessed release in more than 65 countries and across 1300+ screens. According to data of Bollywood Hangama, the film has already collected $93,804 in Australia on Day 1.
Trade analysts had predicted that Sanju movie collection may cross the mark of Rs 30 crore on the first day of its release. However, considering that it has taken a great start in cinemas with an occupancy rate of a staggering 85%, it is set to earn much more.

Sanju is now believed to last for about 2 months in theatres. Renowned Trade analyst Akshaye Rathi, shared that he was expecting a ‘solid opening’ for the film and that it will have a shelf life of 2 months. Yes! You read that right. Sanju is expected to last all of 2 months at theatres!
That the film is going to turn into a hit seems to be a universal prediction, Money Control quoted film trade analyst Atul Mohan as saying that Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju collection prediction is Rs 230 crore at the box office. He declared it a "box-office hit."
The trade analysts are now predicting a grand opening for Sanju. Anticipation is that Sanju will definitely witness a minimum opening of Rs 30 crore. It is also expected to surpass superstar Salman Khan starrer Race 3 to become the highest opener at the box office in 2018.
