Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today hinted that the tax rate on hybrid cars will not be reviewed, saying the industry demands were not in sync with a study conducted by tax officers.
In its 16th GST Council meet the committee revised rates for 66 items. Tax rates have been lowered for certain items like movie tickets, computer printers and agarbatti.
The Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council at its 16th meeting here on Sunday has revised the rates of 66 items from the fitments originally made in the four-slab indirect tax structure, official sources said.
