The Ramco Cements' total expenses rose 52.51 per cent to Rs 2,378.95 crore in Q4 FY23 from Rs 1,559.77 crore a year ago. The total income of the Tamil Nadu-based company grew 50 per cent to Rs 2,583.57 crore.

Ramco Cements share price surged around 2.5% to Rs 758.45 and 760.75 per share on the BSE and NSE intraday, respectively, during Sep 29’s session as the company announced the commissioning of its fifth integrated cement plant in Andhra Pradesh.
Ramco Cements in its exchange filing on Wednesday said, “The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has inaugurated the company's 5th Integrated Cement Plant at Kolumigundla, Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh.”
