President Ram Nath Kovind arrived at Guinea’s Conakry today. He was received by his counterpart Alpha Conde. He was accorded Guard of Honour in Conakry. He is on a three-nation visit in Africa and Guinea is his last destination.
President Ram Nath Kovind has left for Guinea’s capital city Conakry on Thursday. He is on a three-nation visit in Africa and Guinea is his last destination. This is the highest-level visit from India ever to the three West African countries.

President Ram Nath Kovind, who is on a three-nation visit in Africa, addressed the National Assembly of Gambia in Banjul and said India’s overseas assistance made difference to the quality of life of the African people. Kovind added that India has extended 181 lines of credit to 41 African countries for a total amount of 11 billion dollars.
