Over 84 per cent of the 58.71 lakh eligible domestic consumers have opted for the Delhi government's power subsidy scheme till the first week of April, officials said on Saturday.

At present, those consumers of Delhi who have a monthly power consumption of less than 200 units need not pay any electricity charges.
Those applying for subsidy till October 31 will be paid subsidy of the month. Every month people can apply for subsidy, he added.
