Onion Price: Onion prices are continuously increasing. In the last 10 days, onion prices have seen an increase of 50 percent in the Indian markets. The price of onion, which was sold at Rs 35 to 40 per kg, has reached Rs 50 to Rs 70 per kg.

The government has taken several measures to control the rising prices of onion, including increasing the buffer stock, releasing it at a subsidised rate, and imposing an export duty. The National Cooperative Consumers' Federation of India Limited (NCCF) has started selling onions at a subsidised rate of Rs 25 per kg in Delhi from today. The retail sales of onion will be suitably increased in the coming days by involving other agencies and e-commerce platforms.
