India's trade grew 5.45% in H1 2024 to $576 billion, as per NITI Aayog report

According to the highlights of the report, India's total trade in H1 2024 experienced a 5.45 per cent year-on-year increase compared to 2023. Merchandise imports showed consistent growth, with Q1 FY25 exports rising by 5.95 per cent to $110 billion and imports increasing by 8.40 per cent to $173 billion, leading to a growing trade imbalance.
