Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Manoj Jha spoke on the issue of leaking roof of the Parliament on August 1 and and called it a typical scene from an Indian film where the leaking water falls in the bucket kept below. While speaking in the Rajya Sabha on the matter, he said, “Roof leaking, bucket kept below… it is like a typical scene from an Indian film…”

In a veiled attack on the Opposition amid a row over the new Parliament building inauguration, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said not only the Australian prime minister, but MPs from opposition parties attended the event by the Indian community in Sydney.
