Mumbai Metro Rail Line Inauguration: In an effort to strengthen healthcare infrastructure in the metropolis, the Prime Minister inaugurated 20 Hinduhridaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Aapla Dawakhana. He also laid the foundation stone of seven sewage treatment plants.

PM Modi has inaugurated two new routes of the Mumbai Metro, namely Yellow Line 2A and Red Line 7, almost 7 years after the foundation stone for this project was laid. The metro lines will start functioning for common people from January 20.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for a string of projects worth more than Rs 38,000 crore in Mumbai. He will also flag off Mumbai Metro Rail Lines 2A and 7, worth around Rs 12,600 crore.
