Gold Price Today: On MCX, the October futures were trading 0.19 per cent lower at Rs 51,606 per 10 grams. Driven by foreign fund inflows and a firm trend in domestic equities, the Rupee appreciated 6 paise to 79.86 against the US dollar in opening trade on August 26.

Gold Price Today: Gold October futures were down by 0.22 percent at Rs 51,488 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange. At the interbank foreign exchange, the rupee opened at 79.75 against the US dollar, then fell to 79.76, registering a decline of 12 paise over the last close.
