LPG Gas Cylinder Price Cut: In a big relief for all households in the country, the Union Cabinet on Tuesday approved a cut of Rs 200 in the price of LPG gas cylinders available for all LPG consumers.

This LPG gas insurance policy is an insurance policy made by Oil Marketing Companies (OMC). If a gas cylinder explodes customer can actually claim for compensation. Amount varies depending upon the situation. This applies to all customers of any of the oil marketing companies. Personal accident insurance: Rs.5 lakh per person, per event, in case of demise. Per event: Rs.50 lakh. Per person: Rs.10 lakh. Per year: Rs.100 crore.
