Apple has taken action against several loan apps in India that were harassing users. The apps, which offered quick loans at high interest rates, were accused of bombarding users with calls and text messages, even after they had repaid their loans. Apple has removed the apps from its App Store and is investigating the matter.

Odisha Police's EOW (Economic Offence Wing) has notified Google to remove fake loan apps from Google Play Store due to grave complaints. According to EOW, there are about 45 fake apps that are harassing customers for money and are illegally disbursing short-term loans to users.
