According to sources, Deutsche Bank is replacing its US chief Bill Woodley with the global head of its stock-trading business, Thomas Patrick and its Chief Executive John Cryan would personally look after expanding its US business, which has lost market share to Wall Street rivals.

The ad, signed by CEO John Cryan, ran today in German newspapers including the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and the Munich-based Sueddeutsche Zeitung. The bank said its past conduct "not only cost us money, but also our reputation and trust."
