Microsoft Azure Cloud Outage: Airports in Delhi, Mumbai, and Goa also faced technical problems due to the Microsoft technical glitch. Due to the problem, manual check-in has started at many airports, including Chennai, Hyderabad, Patna, and Goa. Delhi Airport, SpiceJet, IndiGo, and Akasa Air have issued advisories for passengers. Payment systems have been facing problems in Australia and the UK. British news channel Sky News also went off air due to the glitch.

The DIAL spokeseperson added, Delhi Airport is extending all support to the impacted individuals and the family of the deceased and has announced a compensation of Rs 20 lakh to the family of the deceased, and Rs 3 lakh each to those who received minor injuries."
