"Cumulative value of exports for the period April-October 2018-19 was $191.01 billion as against $168.64 billion during the period April-October 2017-18, registering a positive growth of 13.27 per cent in dollar terms," the Ministry said in its review statement.

India`s merchandise exports in May rose 20.2 percent year-on-year, the trade ministry said on Friday, but the trade deficit widened to $14.62 billion, driven mainly by a 50 percent surge in its oil import bill, on higher global prices. In April trade deficit stood at $13.72 billion.
