LTIMindtree shares entered the Nifty 50 universe on July 13, taking the place vacated by Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) owing to the mortgage lender's mega merger with HDFC Bank. Similarly, JSW Steel entered the 30-scrip Sensex basket, replacing HDFC.

MSCI index rebalancing: The US-based index has tweaked the weightage of a slew of stocks, such as Adani group shares Adani Enterprises and ACC, and Reliance, HDFC, ICICI Bank and TCS. The MSCI changes will come into force at the end of the day on February 28.
