Celebrating India's rich handloom heritage, Patel highlighted the importance of local crafts and inaugurated renovated departments at NIFT. The event, was attended by key figures including PM Modi.

Bhagalpur’s Radha Nagar village is a core part for handloom silk work in Bihar. Around 150 families of the village made handloom sarees for years. But, none of the ruling government took any initiative for the betterment of the handloom weavers. For a bright future, weavers want government to support their art.
