Two days after India's latest communication satellite with military applications GSAT-6A was launched, ISRO today said it had lost contact with it and was making efforts to establish a link, with preliminary data showing there are chances of recovery.

The rocket is expected to blast off from the second launch pad at the Sriharikota rocket port in Andhra Pradesh at 4.56 p.m., on March 29. The ISRO said that the GSAT-6A was similar to the GSAT-6.
