Under the scheme, craftsmen and artisans will receive several financial and technical support from the Central government. They can avail subsidised loans of Rs 1 lakh and Rs 2 lakh, in two different tranches. These loans will have a concessional interest rate of just 5 per cent.
Under the PM Vishwakarma scheme the artisans will be provided loans at subsidised interest rests. The government will also provide skill development and marketing support to artisans and craftsmen.
