GATE 2018 result score will be valid for three years from the date of publication of the results. Successful candidates for the exam will be eligible for admission to Post Graduate Programs (Masters and Doctoral) in Engineering/Architecture/Technology/Science. Some PSUs like GAIL, BHEL, BTPC, HAL, NPCIL and ONGC among others also use the scores of GATE for recruitment.

GATE 2018 result date: According to the schedule published by IIT Guwahati, GATE 2018 results will be declared on March 17 at Gate.iitg.ac.in. It says the candidates will be able to download the scorecards from March 20 to May 31 from the GOAPs portal.
