GAIL (India) shares reached a 52-week high of Rs 175.15 in early trade on January 30 after signing a long-term LNG purchase agreement with an Abu Dhabi-based company. The deal secures 0.5 million metric tons (MMTPA) of LNG annually for 10 years starting 2026. This follows a similar agreement with Vitol Asia earlier this month, solidifying GAIL's gas sourcing for the future. Analysts expect strong earnings recovery for GAIL due to stabilizing LNG supplies and improving commodity prices.
