In fiscal 2023-24, toll fee collection on NHAI national highways reached ₹54,811.13 crore, with a projected increase of ₹1,400 crore due to a 2.55% fee rate revision. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) informed on Tuesday that the daily toll collection through FASTag system has reached at an all-time high of Rs 193.15 crore on April 29. This amount was collected for 1.16 crore transactions that were recorded on that day.
