With complaints of "bogus" ration cards piling up in the state, the Uttar Pradesh government is mulling cancellation of some six lakh such cards, an official said here on Saturday.

Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution announced today that 2.16 crore ration cards have been deemed as fake and have been deleted.
