Reflecting challenges faced by automobile industry in the wake of demonetisation, auto majors Hyundai Motor India, Mahindra & Mahindra and Ford India today reported decline in their domestic sales in December.
India Yamaha Motor today reported a 28 per cent increase in domestic sales to 49,775 units in December 2016. The company had sold 38,833 units in December 2015, India Yamaha Motor said in a statement.

Royal Enfield, the two-wheeler division of Eicher Motors, on Sunday reported a 42% jump in total sales at 57,398 units in December 2016. The two-wheeler manufacturer had sold 40,453 units in December 2015, Eicher Motors said in a BSE filing.
