India's Index of Eight Core Industries (ICI) registered a 2 per cent growth in September this year, compared to the same month last year, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry reported on Wednesday.

Crude Oil production declined by 3.5 per cent in November 2018 over November 2017. Its cumulative index declined by 3.6 per cent during April to November 2018-19 over the corresponding period of previous year.

The IIP output of the eight core industries grew by 2.4% in July led by steel which posted the maxium growth of 9.2% during the month.
