The Rajasthan High Court issued a notice to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in connection with his statement claiming corruption in the state judiciary. The notice was issued in response to a Public interest litigation (PIL) filed by former judicial officer and advocate Shivcharan Gupta.

The Indian Medical Association in Rajasthan is on the warpath ever since the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government passed the Right to Health Bill on March 21. Ever since the bill is passed, the doctors in Jaipur and other parts of Rajasthan have been protesting against this bill and demanding its withdrawal. The doctors termed the bill “unconstitutional”.
