For the full year (FY22-23), South Indian Bank declared a net profit of Rs 775.09 crore, the highest ever in the history of the bank, it said.

The NSE's Nifty50 ended the session at 18,306.55, down 8.5 points, or 0.047 per cent.
L&T reported a 10 per cent year-on-year (YoY) rise in its consolidated net profit at Rs 3,987 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2023. The consolidated revenue for the quarter, too, rose 10 per cent YoY to Rs 58,335 crore.
After opening in the green, the market turned flat amid selling in heavyweights such as L&T and Dr Reddy's as the companies failed to cheer investors with their March quarter numbers.
Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd on Wednesday reported multifold growth (996 per cent) in its consolidated profit after tax to Rs 959.2 crore due to a low base during the same quarter previous year.

For the fiscal year 2022-23, the company achieved consolidated revenue of Rs 183,341 crore, recording a YoY growth of 17 per cent, aided by strong execution of a large order book in the Infrastructure Projects segment.
At close, the S&P BSE Sensex closed the session at 61,940.20, up 179 points, or 0.29 per cent.
ZEE Business Research expects L&T's consolidated revenue for the quarter under review to come in at Rs 59,311.1 crore, up 12.2 per cent year-on-year (YoY).
Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) shares were upbeat after the company reported a strong set of numbers for the March quarter.
