Border Roads organisation (BRO) has invited applicants for the 778 posts of DVRMT (OG), electrician, Vehicle Mechanic and multi skilled worker (Cook) in General Reserve Engineer Force (BRO). Only Indian national male candidates can apply for the same.

85-km-long Bandipora-Gurez road in Jammu and Kashmir was opened for vehicular traffic on Monday after 5 months. The stretch was closed owing to intense snowfall in the region. Gurez road was cut off after the road closed. Ceremony was held at Razdan pass, 11,500 feet above sea level. With consistent efforts by Indian Army and Border Road Organisation (BRO), the road was cleared in due time.
