The 4.9 km-long Bogibeel Bridge on the Bramhaputra river is India's only fully welded bridge for which european codes and welding standards were adhered to for the first time in the country, said Chief Engineer Mohinder Singh.

At 4.94 km, India's longest road and railway bridge that connects Dibrugarh in Assam to Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh is likely to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi later this year. The civil work of the bridge would be reportedly completed by July 2018.
