The situation in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, popularly known as Silicon City continues to suffer after incessant rain lashed the city. The rain has now exposed the city's infrastructure. A few years ago, questions were also raised on the town planning of Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi. At many places in Bangalore, buildings were built by bridging the ponds, flood-prone areas.
