British Airways has resumed some flights from Britain`s two biggest airports on Sunday after a global computer system failure, adding further that it aimed to operate a near normal schedule of flights from Gatwick airport and the majority of flights from Heathrow on the same day.

British Airways has cancelled all its flights from Heathrow and Gatwick airports in London on Saturday after a "major IT system failure" whereby it has left thousands of travellers stranded on both the airports.
