Tata Group-owned airline Air India has recently reduced the age eligibility of voulntary retirement from 55 years to 40 years, to promote voluntary retirement. The special thing is that the employees will also be given a cash incentive on retirement. The circular related to this has been issued on Wednesday. Talking about the existing rules, such employees whose age is more than 55 years and they have given their service in the company for more than 20 years, only those employees could take advantage of VRS. But now these rules have changed.
