Gold dropped by $20 in the global market. COMEX gold fell below $1960. Gold fell by around Rs 400 on MCX and is trading below Rs 59,850 per 10 grams. Silver fell Rs 1500 on MCX and it is trading below Rs 71,200 per kg. All metals fell by 1-2% on MCX. Jeera fell by Rs 1,000 to Rs 43,350.

The decline in Agri Commodities increased as the Russia resumed its participation in Black Sea grain initiative, a deal with Ukraine grain. So far, more than 90 lakh tonnes have been exported. Last week Russia announced its withdrawal from the deal. Wheat futures in the US fell 6%. Maize prices fell by more than 2%.

Biotech regulatory Genetic Engineering Appraisal Committee (GEAC) has approved the environmental release of Genetically Modified (GM) Mustard in the country. The DMH-11 variety claims a 30% higher yield. This will significantly increase the production of mustard in India. Today again there was a decline in the commodity market. MCX Crude is trading with a fall of Rs 7,645. Brent crude has reached $103.32 per barrel, whereas WTI crude has reached $95.68 per barrel. NCDEX Guar is trading down by Rs 172 at Rs 9,307. On the other hand, NCDEX Guar seed is trading down by Rs 77 at Rs 5,105. Apart from this, MCX Natural Gas is trading with a fall of Rs 625.
