Adani Total Gas news: Adani Total Gas Ltd, the city gas joint venture of Adani Group and French energy giant TotalEnergies, on Tuesday reported 7 per cent rise in June quarter net profit on the back of higher CNG sales.

Adani Total Gas Ltd plans to invest Rs 18,000-20,000 crore in the next 8-10 years to expand its network of CNG stations and pipelines. The company is optimistic about the future of gas as a clean energy source and plans to build over 1,800 CNG stations and connect every home with piped natural gas in the next 7-10 years. It has also diversified its business to include compressed biogas (CBG) and EV charging.

Adani Group stocks: For Adani Green Energy, Adani Transmission, and Adani Wilmar, the circuit limits have been raised to 10% from 5% earlier and for Adani Power, the circuit limit has been increased to 20% from 5%.

Trading in Adani Transmission and Adani Total Gas was halted on May 8 after shares suffered steep losses and hit a lower circuit. Adani Transmission shares hit their 5% lowe circuit limit at Rs 949.05 on BSE. The Adani Total Gas stock also hit its 5% lower circuit limit at Rs 872.90.
Shares of Adani Transmission and Adani Total Gas took a beating on Monday morning after index aggregator MSCI cut weights of Adani Transmission, Adani Total Gas in its May index review process.
